Description
One skewer of our tenderloin strips (Barg) & one skewer of our Koobideh, served with saffron infused rice & accompanied by a grilled tomato
Ingredients:
For Barg (Tenderloin Skewer):
- Veal or beef tenderloin (cut into thin strips)
- Onion (grated or finely chopped, for marination)
- Garlic (minced)
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice or vinegar
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Saffron (optional, for flavor and color)
For Koobideh (Ground Meat Skewer):
- Ground beef and/or lamb (house-ground mix)
- Onion (grated and well-drained)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Optional spices (like sumac or paprika)
Accompaniments:
- Basmati rice (or long-grain rice)
- Saffron
- Butter or oil (for rice)
- Tomato (whole or halved, for grilling)
- Water (for cooking rice)
